Alexander Cabot III, also called Alex occasionally, is the cowardly manager of the titular band in Josie and the Pussy Cats and the twin brother of Alexandra Cabot and he is Melody Valentine's boyfriend.
About Alex[]
Alexander bears a near resemblance to Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo. He has short hair in a full fringe as the color of his hair is dark brown as a contrast to his twin sister, Alexandra who has black hair. He has black eyes and wears his black sunglasses with green lining which conceal his eyes.
His primary clothing is a green v-neck long sleeve sweater with an orange long sleeve button collared shirt beneath his sweater and a purple ascot around his neck similar to Alan's, purple and black pinstriped pants and brown shoes.
In Josie and the Pussy Cats in Outer Space, Alexander's space suit is identical to Alan's, which is a blue space suit with a blue gray collar, blue pants and black boots. His collar design is flat instead of neat and his linings of his sunglasses is white.
Trivia[]
- Running gags concerning Alexander: his incompetent gig-booking, his plans to help the Pussycats out of danger (usually not including himself in them), his cowardice, and his bragging as well.
- In the Warrior Princess short, Alexander alongside Alan Mayberry and Fred Jones from Scooby-Doo serves as one of the Earth's Key Holders to summon Olive the Warrior Princess with the use of their ties to save Earth from destruction at the hands of the sorcerer portrayed by Dick Dastardly who transforms his sidekick Muttley into a giant dragon to rampage through the city.
- While Alexander and Alexandra are twins, it's implied in "Don't Count on a Countess" that Alexander is the older twin.
