Autograph Hounded is the seventh episode of Cattanooga Cats. It first aired 18 October 1969 on ABC.
Summary[]
Chessie the Autograph Hound stalks the Cats to get their autographs and satisfy her fan club, of which she is the president. The Cats manage to avoid her with cardboard cutouts before escaping onto the bus. Constantly running away from her makes Groove tired and he falls asleep in the back of Gashopper. Chessie poses as a policeman to stop Gashopper and trick the Cats to get the autographs. When the Cats get away, they escape into the mountains, but Chessie is always on their tail, disguising herself as everything from a deer to a snowman. Finally the Cats go into an abandoned cabin, but Chessie gets in there via a package.
Finally, Groove wakes up, realizing it was a nightmare. When he awakens, he sees a policeman and thinks his dream has been real and it's Chessie in disguise, but what he thought was Chessie was only a police officer asking the Cats to play at their annual charity ball.
