Big D

Big D, a.k.a. Count Dracula, is a character in the 1980 Hanna-Barbera cartoon series Drak Pack. He was voiced by Alan Oppenheimer.

About Big D

Big D is Drak Jr.'s great-great-great-uncle, to whom the Drak Pack turn when they need counseling.

He used to spread fear and terror throughout Transylvania many centuries ago, but now he is retired and acts as the President of the Transylvania Retired Spooks, Spectres and Spirits Society.

Trivia

• Big D is implied to be the vampire from Bram Stoker's 1897 Gothic horror novel Dracula, although in the series he has already retired from his evil ways.
• A running gag in the series is that Big D has a pet spider that often gets injured while he is giving the team their orders.
• Another running gag is that he almost always slams the lid of his coffin over his fingers when he's attempting to close it to go back to sleep.
