The Black Knight Ghost is a character in the first episode of Scooby Doo Where Are You! entitled "What a Night for a Knight". He is the first case that Mystery Incorporated solved.
About the Ghost[]
He is a haunted suit of knight armor that comes alive when the full moon rises to haunt the museum.
In actuality, it turns out to be Mr. Wickles, the owner of the museum that scared people away so that he can steal the real museum paintings and swap them for fake ones so that he can sell the real paintings for monetary gain.
When the full moon rises, the Knight armor comes to life and has incredible speed and strength considering that most armors are bulky and inhibit speed.
The Mystery Inc. gang stumble across an abandoned car with an empty suit of knight armor in the front seat. They contact the professor Hyde White and museum curator Mr. Wickles so that they could inform them of the suit. They tell Mystery Inc. that every night when the moon rises, the armor comes to life to haunt the museum.
Later that night, the gang discovers that the Black Knight Ghost is moving around freely and it chases after them. Scooby eventually incapacitates the Knight Ghost by crashing toward him via flying machine. The gang eventually unmask him as Mr. Wickles, and learned that he scared people away from the museum so that he profit off of the museum's real paintings that he stole and replace them with fakes, leading to Mr. Wickles getting arrested.
