Colorforms is a brand of picture toys, invented by Harry and Patricia Kislevitz, and introduced in 1951. It consists of an assortment of colored vinyl shapes, often popular cartoon characters, that a child can arrange and rearrange on a background picture printed on glossy cardboard. The toys are produced by Colorforms Brand LLC, owned as of 2018 by Toronto-based 9 Story Media Group.
The first licensed Colorforms set, released in 1957, featured Popeye. A few Hanna-Barbera properties were licensed to Colorforms.
