Creepy Heap

The Creepy Heap from the Deep appeared in an episode of The Scooby-Doo Show.
About the Heap[]
It was the disguise of a bank robber and several other criminals whom Captain Clemens was helping escape from prison.
The Creepy Heap from the Deep is a large, one-eyed crab-like yellow sea monster. It has big monstrous claws, web-like fins, a crescent-shaped tail and a scruffy patch of seaweed on its head.
The creature could supposedly steal people's souls. Captain Clemens made the legend look real by pretending to fall victim to him.
According to legend, the Creepy Heap was originally an evil sailor who was thrown overboard by his shipmates. He was cursed, causing him to turn into a sea monster who subsisted on human spirits.
Captain Clemens was the mastermind of an operation that involved helping criminals escape from prison by giving them makeovers and falsified papers so they could get out of the country. Clemens had the criminals disguise themselves as the monster, both to hide their identities from police while they swam to Clemens' secret submarine hideout and to scare people away from the operation.
Other Versions[]
Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights[]
The Creepy Heap from the Deep, also known as the "Sea Creature", will only appear in Smugglers Cove levels. It will jump out of piles of sardines in the fish factory and attack. It can also be seen briefly in Mystic Manor in "Creepy Crawlies in the Hallways Part 1", and in Hedge Maze in "The Sea Cliffs Dungeons".
The Sea Creature was one of the few monsters that could actually talk; it had over 16 different lines in the game. It also had two different death cries, and two different cries while it walked. Each group of Sea Creatures will say something different from the last, according to the level the player is on. This version of the monster appears to be female due to its voice, but this is not confirmed.
