Cross Country Double Cross is the 12th episode of The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.
Summary[]
Penelope Pitstop races cross country to unveil a statue in New Jersey. The Hooded Claw intends to destroy her and the statue, unaware that the statue is of his alter ego, Sylvester Sneekly.
Trivia[]
- This is the only episode in which Penelope Pitstop is barefoot. During her descent from the lighthouse, she slips off her boots, with the harpoon gun tied to them. She then dives into the ocean to save the Ant Hill Mob from drowning.
- This is also one of only two episodes in which the entirety of Penelope's blond hair is seen, after she throws her helmet onto the Hooded Claw's hose, to stop the flooding of the railroad car. The other episode is "The Boardwalk Booby Trap", in which she uses her helmet as a slingshot to launch a button and burst the mobsters' balloons.
