David Landsberg (3 September 1944 – 5 August 2018) was an American actor, writer, producer and director. He was the voice of Woody in Buford and the Galloping Ghost.
Biography[]
David Landsberg was born in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in business and marketing. This led him to a position at a large advertising firm, but he was not happy with it and quickly decided he wanted to follow his dream of acting and doing voiceover instead.
Some of his television credits include a regular role in NBC's C.P.O. Sharkey and the voice of Woody in The Buford Files, as well as guest-starring roles in The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Eight Is Enough, Hart to Hart, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He also served as executive producer and writer for such series as Herman's Head, Daddy's Girls, The Cosby Show, and The Love Boat: The Next Wave.
He died at age 73 in Los Angeles.
