Dave Walton is a character on The Scooby-Doo Show. He was voiced by Casey Kasem.
About Dave[]
Dave is a middle-aged, Caucasian male, with brown hair and a mustache. He is a border patrol officer for the US-Canadian border, and the uncle of Velma Dinkley.
Dave takes his job as a border guard very seriously protecting the border, and is very adamant about taking care of what all goes on there.
When he heard of Grey Fox's plot of smuggling stolen stuff into Canada, he was on his trail to Catch him. While he was eating his dinner, Grey Fox sent the Owlmen to kidnap him. He was rescued by Red Herron, who took Grey Fox and the Owlmen to the council of elders for punishment.

- It's never explained how Dave Walton is Velma's uncle--he appears to be single and live by himself, so from that, it's probable that he's biologically related to Velma and not her uncle-by-marriage.
- Assuming that he is biologically related to Velma, Dave is mostly likely Velma's mom's brother (making Velma's mom's maiden name "Walton").
