Deedee Markham is a character from the CBS Storybreak episode, "Witch-Cat".
About Deedee[]
Deedee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Markham, as well as the younger sister of Gwen and Jason. She is a slender, Caucasian girl with mustard blond hair with short bangs and worn in pigtails with a red band around each of them, and has black eyes. She wears a white blouse with short, puff sleeves and a banded collar; a red, suspender dress; white socks; and black Mary Jane shoes. At one point, she also wears a pink jacket. She is sweet, kind, and gentle, especially towards Rosetta.
When Gwen brings home the witch-cat, Rosetta, she shows her newfound pet to her parents. Deedee and Jason come to see Rosetta, and Deedee asks Gwen if she can hold her. Gwen says yes, as long as she does so gently. Deedee is fond of Rosetta and says, "Nice kitty". Carrying Rosetta, she and Gwen leave the kitchen while the Scottish Terrier, Dinki, barks concernedly. The parents wonder why Dinki is acting like this, but Jason writes it off as Dinki having a thing against cats.
Later, Deedee finds Rosetta in the living room, watching T.V. She picks her up and brings her to her room where she, and Jason, are having a tea party. When Rosetta looks out a window and sees Gwen and her friends heading to the house, she leaves the room and goes to the kitchen to conjure their own tea party after Gwen wishes for one.
Then, Jason and a friend take Rosetta, leaving the house to explore a cave. Deedee tags along with them. After they get there, Deedee is uncomfortable with being in the darkness of it and wants to go home. She tells Jason that their dad told them that they're never to go in there in the first place. Jason tells her to stop being a baby and asks where else they can play explorer. As they go inside, Deedee becomes even more uneasy. Before Jason can finish telling her what to stop being, Rosetta escapes a leash to which she was attached and held by Jason's friend. Unable to see where she's going, she falls into a crevice. Even though the kids brought flashlights, they miss where Rosetta has fallen and presume she just ran back home. The boys finally relent to Deedee wanting to return home and they leave. Afterwards, Rosetta is saved and brought back home by Gwen, but Rosetta implies that Jason and Deedee's parents found out about them going into the cave, and they're on punishment until Halloween.
