Dr. Ben Cooper is a character in Jana of the Jungle. He was voiced by Michael Bell.
About Ben[]
He is a veterinarian who treats animals at a wildlife reserve in the rain forest. However, he will also treat human patients if they have a life-threatening illness or injury. He also occasionally pilots a helicopter.
He had two focus episodes:
- "Race for Life": Ben is brought to the land of the Amazoni, a tribe of large women, to treat the Queen's sick daughter.
- "Suspicion": Ben is wrongfully accused of stealing a tribe's black pearl.

- Dr. Ben Cooper is the only main character in the series who is neither seen nor mentioned in the show's opening. He is also seen in the closing credits.
- He may have been inspired by Dr. Marsh Tracy, the main character of the live-action series Daktari.
