Some consider Drooper to be sort of a country bumpkin while Fleegle is the leader of the Banana Splits Club.
One of the recurring segments in the show is "Dear Drooper", in which Drooper and Bingo offer advice to viewers. This sketch only appeared in Season One of the show.
Each of the Banana Splits occasionally plays an instrument. Drooper plays bass guitar.
