X Marks the Spot is the sixth episode of Josie and the Pussy Cats. It first aired 17 October 1970 on CBS.
Summary[]
In London, the friendly Professor Isaac Belfour sneaks onboard the Pussy Cats' bus and tells them of his rogue assistant, Mr. X, who used the professor's new formula to make himself invisible and seeks the paper that has the exact details of the antidote he's created. They agree to help the professor hide it, taking him along for their gig in Puddletown, England, to protect him from Mr. X, but not before he uses his newfound ability to capture three of the gang, and the others have to rescue them.

- This is the second major appearance of the Pussy Cats' tour bus, although it has been made into an English double-decker bus!.
- Mr. X is based on the titular character in H.G. Wells' The Invisible Man.
- Mr X imprisons the Pussycats: Alexandra is in a stock; Valerie is in a iron maiden; Alan is in a rack; Alexander is tied down with a feather ticking his feet; Josie and Melody are chained to a wall; Sebastian is placed inside a suit of armor from which he escapes.
