April Stewart is a member of the Funky Phantom Crew and one of the main protagonists in The Funky Phantom. She was voiced by Kristina Holland.

About April[]

April has blue eyes and light blonde hair and is most often depicted wearing a blue sweater over a white turtleneck with a matching white skirt. She is the only character drawn with "realistic" eyes. She has only one known relative: Her Uncle Henry Fowler, owner of Chicken Delicious.

One of Mudsy, Skip and Augie's best friends, she is kindhearted, friendly, and frequently the one to suggest they initiate an investigation. She is intelligent and concocts many of the plans to help the people they come across and to stop the villain of the week - something particularly evident in her quick-thinking, such as how she creates an organization on the spot and builds a narrative around it to save Mudsy's childhood home in "Mudsy and Muddlemore Manor" and quickly thinks to send smoke signals to Skip and Augie so they can find her in "The Liberty Bell Caper". She has a sarcastic and sharp side and doesn't hesitate to shut down Skip and Augie's bickering, especially if it distracts from the task at hand. She is confident in asserting herself, such as in "Who's Chicken", "We Saw a Sea Serpent", and "Mudsy and Muddlemore Manor", where she firmly establishes her intention to get to the bottom of the respective cases. She can be a voice of reason in talking down Mudsy from his anxieties during mysteries.

April has what can be likened to a father-daughter relationship with Mudsy; often, his final straw in episodes will be harm coming to her. Though she spends more time alone with Augie, she doesn't have an overt romantic preference between him or Skip, and disregarding the "love triangle," the three of them are very close as a trio, with them seemingly spending most of their time together and driving around North America together even before meeting Mudsy. She expresses fondness towards both Elmo and Boo, the former of which she defends when Augie tells him off and dresses him up in "Pigskin Predicament" and "The Hairy Scarey Houndman". In the former episode, she is a member of the Central High Cheerleading Squad, seemingly being the only cheerleader alongside Elmo the mascot. Her interests include fashion and history.
