The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang is a Saturday morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera for ABC from 1980 to 1982. It features the voices and likenesses of actors from the live-action sitcom Happy Days, as well as Mr. Cool, Fonzie's dog.
According to some reports, this show was produced when Hanna-Barbera was unable to get the rights to create an animated version of the BBC series Doctor Who. However, this has been denied by show developer Duane Poole.
Twenty-four episodes were produced: 13 in the first season, and 11 in the second. Paramount Home Entertainment released The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang on DVD in 2019.
