Franklin Wendell Welker (born 12 March 1946, Denver, Colorado) is a well-known American voice actor. His first role was Fred Jones in Scooby Doo Where Are You! in 1969, a role that he continues to this day, and he has been doing character voices for many studios besides Hanna-Barbera, as well as the current voice of Scooby-Doo after Don Messick's death in 1997. He's known for doing very convincing animal voices in various animated series and movies.
