Gardener is a character in The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
About the Gardener[]
The unnamed gardener grew strange carnivorous plants in his back garden. He seemed to be some kind of plant-monster himself.
His face looks like a vegetable. He has red skin and wears a green suit with a cape, yellow tie, and long collar.
He has no concern for the lives of his victims and treats his plants like his pets.
The vegetable-like man hired Shaggy Rogers, Scooby-Doo, and Scrappy-Doo (working as the Three S Gardening Services) to take care of the plants, but he really meant for them to become plant food. When the guys realize his plan, they attempted to escape with the gardener sending his plants after them. When Scrappy threw fruit at the plants, they got sick, disgusting the gardener while the trio escapes.
