Gargamel is the arch enemy of the Smurfs. He was voiced by Paul Winchell.

This impoverished wizard is always obsessively plotting to invade the Smurfs' village along with his cat, Azrael, and either eat the Smurfs or turn them into gold. However, his evil schemes always backfire thanks to the Smurfs.
