Hair Raising Harness Race is the ninth episode of The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.
Summary[]
Penelope Pitstop is competing in a charity harness race when her horse, Lilac Water, loses its harness due to sabotage by the Hooded Claw. Many perils ensue, with the Ant Hill Mob ready to rescue her.
Notably, after Penelope escapes the Hooded Claw's steamroller, her car runs out of gasoline. She takes refuge in a shack full of explosives, which the Hooded Claw intends to set off. The mobsters arrive, but the Hooded Claw captures them and hangs them over a deep canyon. Penelope summons Lilac Water to bring the key to the shack. Lilac Water unlocks the door, freeing Penelope in the nick of time and enabling her to rescue the mob.
