Handy Smurf is a recurring character in the Smurfs cartoon series.

Handy is a very creative builder. He can fix anything - for instance, he can hear a dripping faucet and fix it immediately. He is always thinking up new inventions, and believes he can solve every problem. He loves creating new technology and sometimes answers unasked questions. Handy's passion can lead to over-engineered contraptions that work well until they cause havoc. He speaks with a Wisconsin accent and wears a visor and yellow pencil, and overalls.
Handy constructs all Smurf houses and tools. He's a vital Smurf in the village. The Smurfs couldn't fix things properly without him.
Handy builds new things in his episodes. In the first and seventh seasons, he created a Clockwork Smurf and Clockwork Smurfette, respectively. He also invented numerous other things, including Window-Vision (television), a wheelsmurfer (wheelchair), a weather-Smurfing machine, Smurf-Colored Glasses (pun on "rose-colored glasses" for Smurfette), and the Telesmurf (telephone system).
