Hilarious P. Prankster is a character in Yogi's Gang.
Hilarious P. Prankster appeared in the Jellystone! episode "Jailcation" as an inmate at Santo Relaxo.
About Hilarious[]
He is a tall, slender man who wears a jester's costume and clown makeup. He flies in an old biplane and has a limitless supply of items typically found in joke shops.
He begins his pranks by sending the gang a fake telegram inviting them to Ranger Smith's summer camp to put on a show for the kids. When they arrive, Ranger Smith informs them that the camp is closed for the season. However, orphans are coming there, so they will be able to perform. Mr. Prankster lands at the camp and introduces himself as "Hilarious P. Prankster, M.D., Ph D, and A.F." When asked what A. F stands for, he replies, "April Fool."
When Wally Gator admits he has no talent, Yogi tells him he can be the curtain puller. Displeased with his mediocre task, Wally runs into Mr. Prankster, who convinces him to prank the others, claiming they'll get a good laugh out of it. However, the results are not what Wally expected, and the other animals run when they see him coming. Mr. Prankster has him read unfunny jokes about his friends from a joke book, but none of them are amused. When they overhear Wally telling Mr. Prankster he's ashamed of what he's done, they realize Mr. Prankster is the true culprit, and turn the tables on him with his own humor equipment. He flies away, yelling, "I hate wise guys!"
He is also in the show's intro, along with the Greedy Genie, both of whom are spotted by Boo-Boo Bear right after Yogi Bear and Huckleberry chase off Lotta Litter with a street cleaner. When Boo-Boo sees them at three o'clock, Yogi fixes their clock by catching them in nets.
