She is the wife of Harry Boyle, and the mother of Chet, Alice, and Jamie Boyle. She sings the chorus of the show's theme song, whose verses are sung by Chet and Alice. She is seen at the upstairs window of the Boyles' house during the closing credits, waiting for Harry.
She is the second Hanna-Barbera wife and mother whose animated series takes place in 1970s America. The first was Marge Huddles.
