Kathleen Helppie-Shipley (born 13 September 1956) is an American animation producer and voice actress. For Hanna-Barbera, she portrayed Sweets on The Biskitts and Shannon on Pound Puppies.
Biography[]
Helppie began her animation career at Warner Bros. as a secretary for famed director Friz Freleng. She was in charge of the Looney Tunes franchise longer than anyone else except studio founder Leon Schlesinger. She was working as a mapmaker for the studio when her cartoon voice was randomly discovered by various Hollywood talent scouts. As senior producer, Helppie was nominated for six Annie awards, two of which she won.
