Kevin Conroy (30 November 1955 – 10 November 2022) was an American voice actor. He voiced characters in The New Adventures of Captain Planet and The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest. He reprised his signature role of Batman in "What a Night for a Dark Knight!", an episode of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
Biography[]
Kevin Conroy is best known for his voice role as the DC Comics character Batman on the 1990s Warner Bros. television show Batman: The Animated Series, as well as various other TV series, video games, and feature films in the DC Animated Universe. Due to the popularity of his performance as Batman, Conroy went on to voice the character for many multiple films under the DC Universe Animated Original Movies banner, along with the acclaimed video games Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009), Batman: Arkham City (2011) and Batman: Arkham Knight (2015).

- Conroy went to school with Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in four films.
- He shared a birthday with Efrem Zimbalist Jr., the voice of Alfred Pennyworth on Batman: The Animated Series.
- He was the first actor to portray Batman as having two distinctive vocal styles: charming and virile as Bruce Wayne, and gravelly and rasping as Batman.
