Sid and Marty Krofft are Canadian brothers famous for their live-action and puppet shows. They were among Hanna-Barbera's many competitors in producing programs for Saturday-morning television in the 1970s. Despite the two studios' rivalry, the Kroffts designed the character costumes for The Banana Splits Adventure Hour.

On 25 November 2023, Marty Krofft died at age 86.
