Mr. I.M Sloppy is a character in Yogi's Gang. He was voiced by Allan Melvin.
About Mr. Sloppy[]
Mr. Sloppy is a slob by nature, who wears slovenly clothes, has unkempt hair, and has unattractive features. His pet dog is called Messy. He becomes the dapper and well-mannered gentleman Mr. Neat upon finding out that Yogi Bear and the other animals are on their way to Neatersville to meet up with Boo-Boo Bear's human friend, a young boy named Jimmy. In this guise, Sloppy is able to dupe the animals into becoming slobs like him, leading to near-disastrous consequences. In the end, he's found out just before the ark finally arrives in Neatersville.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Spellcasting: Mr. Sloppy becomes Mr. Neat by reciting an incantation from his Book of Sloppy Spells. When the spell briefly wears off, he simply recites another incantation to become Mr. Neat again.
Trivia[]
- Mr. Sloppy's ability to become an impeccably tailored gentleman for deceptive purposes was later used by Phantom Phink on Yogi's Space Race, whenever he became Captain Good, and Sinister Sludge became Clean Cat.
- Messy does not accompany Mr. Sloppy when he boards the ark.
