Out on a Limb is a thirty-second skit of The Little Rascals. It first aired 4 December 1982.
- Story by: Unrevealed
- Duration: 30 seconds
Cast[]
- Julie McWhirter Dees as Alfalfa
- Scott Menville as Spanky
- Patty Maloney as Darla
Summary[]
Alfalfa is seen pushing Spanky on a swing. Out of nowhere, Darla comes in and starts a supposedly romantic conversation with Alfalfa, but he is not paying any attention to what he is doing to Spanky due to Darla's attractiveness, and the swing movements grow faster and faster. Darla is startled soon afterwards when she notices Spanky is tangled in the swing on a tree limb hanging upside down.
Trivia[]
- This is the last of three 30-second skits that featured Darla. The others are "The Serenade" and "Do or Diet".
- In this skit, "Out on a Limb" does apply in two ways: The swing is hanging from a tree limb, and the phrase refers to Darla spontaneously appearing out of nowhere to start a conversation.
- As of this skit, all new 30-second skits will feature different background music as opposed to the first ten.
- This is the only known segment in which Spanky's full hair is seen without his cap.
