Summary[]
Darla is desperate for an autograph from Greg Groove, a rock musician she has a crush on. The gang try every attempt to get an autograph, including going to the hotel where he is staying, and even sneaking into Greg's dressing room, only to be escorted out by security.
Alfalfa feels rejected, so the boys start up a rock band with Alfalfa as the lead singer in an effort to win back Darla's affections. In the end, after Greg's credibility is destroyed, Darla realizes that, as much as she is a fan of Greg Groove, she admires Alfalfa more than a rock star, and then kisses Alfalfa on the cheek, causing him to blush from the neck up.
Trivia[]
- Darla is a fan of a celebrity in this episode. She would later be a fan of the actor who played Captain Muscles in "The Zero Hero".
- Shown backstage, near the exit, are posters for a free concert scheduled for February 14, and a Royal Ballet of Canada concert on May 20. The Royal Ballet of Canada is likely a play on The National Ballet of Canada. Also, this may be the only time Canada is referenced in the series, if not spoken.
