Scoots Clunk is a character in Cattanooga Cats. He was voiced by Jim Begg.
About Scoots[]
Scoots, short for Scooter, is the shortest member of the band, and their upright bass player. In several videos, he also plays banjo or bass guitar. As well, he can deploy The Magic Crayon from his pocket in an emergency to create anything he needs out of thin air.
In several shorts, he plays a caveman finding ways to get out of various sorts of trouble, often accidentally inventing or discovering things or using prehistoric animals to his advantage.
Scoots is a grayish-green tabby with white patches of fur around his mouth and chin and inside his ears. He usually wears a large maroon hillbilly hat with an orange hatband, a light-orange shirt, a very small maroon vest that matches the maroon on his hat, and jeans or orange stretch pants, depending on the setting. He wears a loincloth in the caveman shorts, though he still keeps his trademark hat.
His catchphrase is "Wavy chitlin' gravy!" or sometimes just "Wavy gravy!", which is an expression of amazement, bewilderment or disbelief, or "Ding-a-ling, ding-a-lings", which means basically the same thing.
