Sir Johan (pronounced yoh-hahn) is a character in The Smurfs from Season 2 through Season 7. He was voiced by Michael Bell.
About Johan[]
Sir Johan is a teenage knight who serves to protect his king and his kingdom from various kinds of threats. He has befriended a young boy named Peewit, who has become his constant companion in his adventures. Sir Johan rides around on a white horse named Bayard.
In Season 3, his character was sidelined in the episode, "The Grumpy Gremlin". He hardly helped Peewit on his problem with the gremlin after he unintentionally chopped down the gremlin's home. And in Season 4, he was entirely absent from the rest of the series (as it is clear that Peewit had more of a character than him). However, he did return in Season 7 when he helped to stop the Evil Vizier from taking over the King's castle.

He appears in various episodes, usually in the "Adventures of Sir Johan and Peewit" stories.
He also appears in the "non-canonical" Smurf story "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute", where he is called Sir John during the first half-hour, then Johan for the remainder.
