Tansut is a character in Space Ghost.

Tansut is an enemy of Space Ghost. He wears an orange mask and outfit. His outfit has an orange-red cape. In the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "King Dead", he has pink skin.

Tansut was the leader of the Intergalactic Hi-Jackers. Tansut uses a large space chariot that fires lethal lasers. In his only appearance in the series, Tansut was last shown heading for the Death Mist.

Although he was a one-shot villain in the original series, Tansut became part of the Council of Doom in Space Ghost Coast to Coast, where he is an overweight and cowardly alien in an orange costume and helmet. His outfit makes him appear much more menacing than he actually is, but fails completely at hiding his gut. He is also elderly and is out of touch with what's hip with today's youth. He does have a dark side, but it only comes up rarely. Tansut replaced Moltar as director of the show twice and messed it up. His biggest fear is getting zapped by one of Space Ghost's rays. For about half the episodes of Season 4, he announced the show off-screen, usually breaking down crying and regretting his job, until he was fired by Space Ghost in "BooBooKitty".

Tansit originally had a gruff, evil voice done by C. Martin Croker in his first few appearances on SGC2C, but he was later voiced by Don Kennedy. In the original '60s show, he was voiced by Ted Cassidy.

Articles on the official Cartoon Network website showed that Tansut used to be married but his wife left him in 1976.

In the upcoming Dynamite comic, Tansut is the leader of a group of space pirates. He murders Jan and Jace's dad Dr. Jerrod Keplar.
