Ted Knight (born Tadeus Wladyslaw Konopka, 7 December 1923 – 28 August 1986) was an American actor. He is best known as the pompous, loudmouth news anchorman Ted Baxter in the CBS series The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and as cartoonist Henry Rush in the sitcom Too Close For Comfort. His various voice roles for Hanna-Barbera include:
- the Penguin in the Batman & Robin episodes of The New Scooby-Doo Movies
- the ghost of Paul Revere in "The Loch Ness Mess" episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies
- the narrator in SuperFriends
