Sunday Afternoon on the Moon is a 1972 book in the Durabooks series. Based on The Jetsons, it was written by Horace J. Elias and copyright by Hanna-Barbera.


Elroy is bored on a Sunday afternoon. George would just as soon sleep in front of the spacevision, but Elroy begs him to do something with him. George reluctantly agrees to take the family to the Moon. Jane and Judy pick moonflowers. Astro chases moon mice. Elroy collects rocks. George sleeps in front of the spacevision in the car. Upon their return, Elroy discovers that one of his rocks isn't a rock at all, but a golf ball. They all wonder how it got there.
