Mentions and parodies of Hanna-Barbera characters[]
- In the episode segment "Duck Out of Luck", when airplanes fire at Plucky as Duck Kong, slow-motion playback of the scene will reveal the following ammunition from an airplane's cannons: a yellow kitchen sink, a green elf (somewhat resembling a green Smurf), a television set, a purple trash can, a green boot, George Jetson, a soda can, a toilet, Superman's "S" logo, Shaggy Rogers and a golden boxing glove.
- In the episode "Pledge Week", Babs Bunny mimics Yogi Bear.
- In the opening sequence of the "Night Ghoulery" special, Hamton is dressed up as Barney Rubble for Halloween.
- In "The Acme Bowl", one of the rival football teams that have defeated Acme Looniversity's team at the start is the Hanna-Barbarians, a group of barbarians who resemble Fred Flintstone.
