Granny's birthday is coming up, but Bobby Joe loses the money to buy her a gift. Meadowlark convinces Curly to take on a vicious wrestler, the Mangler, in order to win prize money to buy Granny's gift. With Meadowlark's scheming, Curly is victorious, but the prize money is stolen by a couple of crooks, and replaced with counterfeit money (who capture Dribbles for catching them in the act). The Globetrotters are then arrested when they unknowingly attempt to pay for Granny's gift with the counterfeit money, but are released. Dribbles escapes the crooks' clutches, and finds the Globetrotters, who manage to find the crooks and claim their prize money back, but the crooks retaliate, by recruiting a femme fatale friend to challenge them to a charity game, against her all-girls basketball team.
Initially, the good-mannered Globetrotters can't bring themselves to score against the all-girls team, and even assist them in scoring, giving the girls a commanding lead. After a pep talk from Granny, the Globetrotters realize they can display good manners, and still score points, and go on to win the game, much to the crooks' dismay. They attempt to escape, but are captured, and arrested, as their counterfeit plates are found. The Globetrotters get Granny her birthday gift, and donate the remainder of the money to charity.
