Whew! is an American game show hosted by Tom Kennedy and announced by Rod Roddy. It aired on CBS from 23 April 1979 to 30 May 1980. The opening involves a cartoon sequence produced by Hanna-Barbera, where a woman tiptoes into a cave trying to dodge a row of ten villains, the executioner's axe, a vampire's bite, a pirate's sword, and the witch's cat, to get to a pot of gold, the $25,000 top prize.
It is the only networked American game show in which Hanna-Barbera was involved in some form.
Rebroadcasts of this series began on the digital subchannel Buzzr in September 2021. It is the first time in 41 years that the series will have aired on television in some form.
